活動期間1964-1978
1964年に結成されたヴォーカル・ハーモニー・ポップ・バンド。ウォルヴァーハンプトン、バーミンガム・エリアを主戦場に活躍し、活動期間中には多数のシングルをリリースした。
ギタリストのBill Hayward、シンガーJohn Jonesらを中心に結成。同時代の他のビート・グループと同様に西ドイツでも演奏活動を行った。1965年にはベースのRalph Oakleyが同エリアのライバル・バンドFinders Keepersに移籍するなど、同グループとメンバーを入れ替えつつ活動。
1965年にシングル「All That Is Mine Can Be Yours」でデビュー。1966年にはギター、キーボードなどを操るマルチ奏者で元The Mountain KingsのTerry Rowleyが加入、翌67年にはFinders Keepersを脱退したベース奏者Jake Elcockが加わっている。1967～68年にはシングル「You’ve Got To Be Loved」「Run To Me」が小ヒットを記録。
しかし、1968年末にはサウンドの中核を担っていたJonesとRowleyがGlenn Hughesら末期Finders KeepersのメンバーとTrapeze結成のため離脱。残されたメンバーはバンド存続を決め、Finders KeepersのヴォーカルIan Leesを加入させている。
1970年には1stアルバムのみに参加してTrapezeを脱退したRowleyとJonesが復帰。レーベルをPyeからMCA、MAMに移して活動を継続。1972年にはオリジナル・メンバーのHaywardが離脱。後任にRob Kendrickを迎えるが、翌年にはTrapezeに移籍した。
1973年にJones以外のメンバーがバンドを去るが、JonesはキャノックのMailというバンドをバックにしてグループを存続させ、1978年まで活動した。Jonesは解散後、Light FantasticのKeith Lockeと、Locke & Jonesというデュオでクラブ・サーキットで活動。後にウェールズに移った。
