セッション系ベーシスト。ヘヴィ・ロック期のFreedomや1970年代のLesley Duncanのバックを務めた。
1970年、Bobby Harrison率いるFreedomに加入。同グループは当初サイケデリック・ポップにも通じる音楽性をみせていたが、まもなくヘヴィ・ロックへと方向転換し、Vertgoに移籍してリリースした代表作の3rdアルバム「Through The Years」と4作目でラストアルバムとなった「Freedom Is More Than A Word 」の2枚のアルバムに参加した。
その後セッション活動に入り、1970年代は主にLesley Duncanのバックで活動。75年の「Moon Bathing」など2枚のアルバム・レコーディングに参加した。1977年にはギタリスト/シンガーのAlan Rossのソロ作「Are You Free On Saturday」に参加。グループ編成となった次作「Restless Nights」でも演奏している。
1970年代末は、The Alan Ross Bandで一緒になったドラマーのEd SpevockとThe Peddlersをサポート。1980年代はＲ＆ＢバンドThe Balham Alligatorsのメンバーとしても活動。後に音楽ディレクターに転身。
