活動期間1976.9-1977.9
Uriah Heepのリード・ヴォーカルDavid Byronが元Humble PieのDave Clempsonと結成したハード・ロック・バンド。ドラマーは元WingsのGeoff Britton、キーボードはClempsonとともにSteve Marriott’s All Starsで活動していたDamon Butcher。
1976年末からレコーディングに入り、翌年春にIslandから同名アルバムをリリース。Peter Framptonのオープニング・アクトで米国ツアーを行ったが、秋にByronが脱退。新ヴォーカリストにGarry BellをスカウトしてChampionに改名した。
