活動期間1970.3-1972.12
Tim Renwick率いる名カントリー/スワンプ・ロック・バンド。1972年末にはSutherland Brothersと合体し、Sutherland Brothers & Quiverとして活動した。
David Bowieのバックバンドを務めていたJunior’s EyesのギタリストTim RenwickとベーシストHonkが結成。Junior’s Eyes解散後の短期間、HonkはPeter BardensのバックバンドVillageで活動。同グループで一緒になったカナダ人ギタリストCal Batchelor、ドラマーReg Isidoreとともに活動をスタートさせる。
しかし、HonkとIsidoreはまもなく離脱。代わってベースに同じくBardensのVillageにいたBruce Thomas、ドラマーに元Trashで後にセッション・ミュージシャンに転じるTimi Donaldが加わる。1970年末にはDonaldに代わってThomasのBitter Sweet時代のバンドメイトで元CochiseのWillie Wilsonが加わりラインナップが固定。
Warner Bros.との契約を得て、 1971年にHipgnosisのジャケットワークでも知られるセルフタイトルのアルバムでデビュー。翌年にはセカンド「Gone In The Morning」をリリース。この頃にはソロ・アーティストなどのバック・バンドとしても積極的に活動し、Ashman ReynoldsやMarc Ellington、Mike Absalom、Al Stewartのバックを担当したほか、アルバムのレコーディングにも参加。
その流れでSutherland Brothersのバックを務め、1972年末からGavin SutherlandとIain Sutherland兄弟と正式に合流、6人編成でSutherland Brothers & Quiverとして活動をリニューアル・スタートさせている。
